Xiaomi reveals HyperOS 3 release plan: find out which devices will get the Android 16-based firmware and when

Xiaomi didn't wait until the 24th of September for the global HyperOS 3 launch and published a plan to release the firmware on Xiaomi and REDMI devices.

Here's What We Know

The Chinese company will start rolling out the Android 16-based HyperOS 3 update from 15 October until January 2026.

On 15 October, the following models will receive the update:

• Xiaomi 15/15Pro/15S Pro/15 Ultra
• REDMI K80 Pro/K80 Extreme Edition

Until 31 October, owners of the following devices will be able to install:

• Xiaomi MIX Flip 2
• Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro
• Xiaomi Pad 7/7 Pro/7 Ultra/7S Pro 12.5
• REDMI K80
• REDMI Turbo 4 and 4 Pro
• REDMI Pad K
• Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED 2025
• Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2025
• Xiaomi Watch S4 all models

Updated by 30 November:

• REDMI TV X 2025 series
• REDMI G Pro 27U Monitor
• Xiaomi Mi Band 10

In early December, the following will receive the update:

• Xiaomi MIX Fold 3
• Xiaomi 13 Ultra/Xiaomi 13 Pro/Xiaomi 13
• REDMI K60 all models
• REDMI Turbo 3
• all models of Redmi Note line, starting from Redmi Note 13 5G and above
• Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, Xiaomi Pad 6 Max 14
• REDMI Watch 5
• Xiaomi Mi Band 9 and 9 Pro

The fifth wave will start in January 2026 and will affect models:
