Tesla is actively working on the development of its own Robotaxi, which operates only in Austin (Texas), but by the end of 2025, according to Elon Musk, the company plans to cover half of the U.S. territory.

Currently, Robotaxi's transport services use Tesla Model Y vehicles, which are not designed for the needs of people with disabilities. But that may soon change.

Here's What We Know

Tesla said that it is developing a special vehicle for transporting low-mobility passengers and showed Robovan, an electric autonomous minivan, as an illustration.

It waspreviously reported that Robovan is designed to transport up to 20 people and cargo in areas with high population density. It is likely that the vehicle will receive a modification for Robotaxi, equipped with a ramp and other necessary devices.

No additional information has not yet been reported, but Musk has already confirmed the information about the preparation of a special Robotaxi.
