A sub-flagship with big ambitions: the global presentation of Xiaomi 15T took place

Along with the flagship Xiaomi 15T Pro, the Chinese company has launched global sales of a more affordable smartphone - the basic Xiaomi 15T.

As the name suggests, the novelty has entered the updated T-line 2025. The device combines flagship specs, Leica's proprietary camera and has received the latest HyperOS 3 shell based on Android 16, but is offered at a more affordable price compared to the Pro version.

The main specifications of the Xiaomi 15T are:

• Screen: 6.73″ AMOLED with 1.5K (2772×1260) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness up to 3000 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2;
• processor: MediaTek Dimensity 9300+, made on 4nm process technology;
• memory: 12 GB LPDDR5X + 256/512 GB UFS 4.0;
• battery: 5000 mAh, 67W fast charging (wired);
• support Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IR port
• IP68 water and dustprotection.

Like the flagship model, the Xiaomi 15T gets a great set of cameras from Leica:

• main: 50MP Sony IMX800 with optical stabilisation;
• ultra-wide-angle: 12MP, 120° field of view;
• front: 32 MP.

The optics allow the use of Leica's proprietary filters, Pro modes and HDR video.

In addition, the smartphone also supports Xiaomi Offline Communication, a unique feature that allows you to make calls without a mobile network up to 1.9km away.

Xiaomi 15T is available in three colours: black, grey and gold.

The cost of the novelty in the basic version - € 650.
