Honor X9d 5G launched with 8300mAh battery and IP69K certification

Honor has officially launched the X9d 5G smartphone in Malaysia. This is a mid-budget smartphone with a huge 8300 mAh battery. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor and has a bright 2.5K display

Honor X9d specifications

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2640 × 1200 pixels. The screen supports HDR-level brightness, reaching a peak of 6000 nits, as well as eye protection and dynamic dimming technologies. Aluminium silicate glass is used to increase durability, but the brand is not specified.

The Honor X9d 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, which features the Adreno 810 graphics cluster. The smartphone runs on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0. Available memory configurations: 12 GB of RAM with 256 GB of internal storage or 12 GB of RAM with 512 GB of internal storage.

Of the two rear cameras, the main one has a 108MP sensor with optical stabilisation, 4K video recording and 10x digital zoom. The 16MP front camera is located in the notch.

One of the key features of the X9d is its 8300mAh battery. It supports 66W fast charging, as well as a reverse charging function to recharge other devices.

The smartphone is certified to IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K for water and dust resistance. Connectivity standards include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB-C port. The device weighs 193 g and is 7.76 mm thick. The available colours are red-brown, forest green, sun gold and midnight black.

In Malaysia, the Honor X9d 5G is priced at $359 for the 256GB model and $409 for the 512GB version. Customers in Malaysia who pre-order will receive gifts worth $275 - an Honor Pad X7 tablet and an extended one-year warranty that covers breakage and drowning.
