First in the series: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will come to PlayStation - exact release date known

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 for PlayStation 5 has been officially announced at State of Play.

Xbox Game Studios and Asobo Studio have announced that Microsoft Flight Simulator will be released on PlayStation 5 for the first time in the series on 8 December.

The developers will use all the features of Sony's console, including the unique features of the DualSense controller - adaptive triggers will allow you to feel the resistance of the helm, dispatcher messages will be displayed through the built-in speaker, and vibration will enhance immersion in the game. Gyroscope, light indication and touchpad are supported.

A special version of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 for PlayStation VR2 will be released in 2026 and will be available for free to anyone who buys the game on PS5.

Pre-order is already open, and as a gift for its registration users will receive a Northrop T38-A Talon training jet on 8 December, while Deluxe, Premium Deluxe and Aviator Edition will allow you to start the game five days earlier - from 3 December.
