Dreame Technology, a well-known Chinese manufacturer of home appliances, has published official images of its upcoming car. It is a large SUV, strongly resembling the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. The model will hit the market in 2027 with a wheelbase of 3.2 metres, "carriage" doors and an electric powertrain.

Here's What We Know

The Dreame vehicle gets a large rectangular chrome grille and LED headlights. Other features of the Dreame SUV include large discs, hidden door handles and carriage-style swinging doors. The car shown has no mid body pillars, but this design solution is often seen in concept cars.

According to Chinese media reports, the new car boasts a 3.7 metre long cabin. The second row offers two independent captain's chairs with a legroom of 1.2 metres, separated by a large central tunnel. The seats' tilt can be adjusted up to 145 degrees.

The new model will receive CTP 4.0 (Cell-To-Pack) technology with a 100-kilowatt battery. An optional power reserve expansion system will also be available. The Dreame SUV will get four independent electric motors, swivelling rear wheels and a turning radius of less than five metres. Another feature of the vehicle is an active chassis that adjusts ground clearance and stiffness according to information from lidars, cameras and millimetre-range radars.

Earlier, Dreame announced the construction of a new production plant in Berlin in conjunction with French banking giant BNP Paribas. The production site will be located next to Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin.
