Hades II has become the highest-rated PC game of 2025 - critics and gamers are excited about the release version of the roguelike action game

The full release of roguelike action game Hades 2 has taken place.

In May 2024, the game was launched in Early Access and immediately earned great love of the public. All this time the independent studio Supergiant Games worked hard to add content, new mechanics, unique game features and fix a few flaws, and in the end their work brought a stunning result.

The release of Hades II 1.0 was a colossal success for the developers. Their game became the best PC novel of 2025, receiving 95 points on Metacritic and surpassing even the adored by gamers Hollow Knight: Silksong and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Critics praise all elements of the game, the authors' attention to the smallest nuances and the main innovations of the release version of Hades II - new biomes, dialogues, magic system, achievements and improved balance. Importantly, the game also features a full-fledged finale, in which Melinoa can face off against Kronos, the Titan of Time.

Gamers are excited about the game and after the first day its rating on Steam is 97% positive reviews.

Hades II is now available on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, on which it has no technical issues.
