At the OnePlus Gaming Conference 2025 event, the company showed a real OnePlus 15 device and talked about the technologies it will receive. According to the company, playing at 120 Hz is not smooth enough for gaming, it is necessary to stick to 165 Hz standards.

The new solution is based on Snapdragon 8 Elite and thanks to neural core processing, it has managed to reduce latency by 10ms and reduce OLED residual effect by 27% and shortens the refresh interval from 8ms to 6ms. OnePlus calls it the "WindChase Gaming Kernel" - an updated gaming core with three upgrades:

  • CPU has better power efficiency
  • GPU is powerful enough to render basic graphics
  • NPU adds "optical rendering" to increase FPS

OnePlus has demonstrated the smartphone's performance in five optimised games, including Call of Duty Mobile, League of Legends Mobile, Genshin Impact, and others. According to the company's president, the shorter delay in display refresh will allow faster response to changing situations in esports games.

The OnePlus Ace 6, which was also shown at the conference, will receive a similar gaming boost.
