Meta launches Vibes, a service for creating videos using artificial intelligence

Meta has updated the Meta AI app and added a new Vibes tab, a feed where you can create, remix, and share short videos generated by artificial intelligence. To create a video, it is enough to describe what should happen on the screen in text.

You can create a new video from scratch, edit an existing clip, or remix another user's video from the Vibes feed. You can customise your video by style, choose music, and add visual effects.

Videos can be shared on Vibes, sent to friends in messages, or cross-posted to Instagram and Facebook Stories/Reels.
Videos generated by Meta AI on Instagram can be opened in the Meta AI app with a single tap to create your own remix. Meta has collaborated with Midjourney and Black Forest Labs to create the service, but is simultaneously developing its own neural models for video generation.

Vibes has already been launched, but access is being provided to users in stages.
