A few days ago, the long-awaited announcement of the racing game Forza Horizon 6 in the Japanese setting took place.

Microsoft showed only a small teaser, in which it was stated that the novelty is created for PC and Xbox Series.

We immediately assumed that Forza Horizon 6 will appear on PlayStation 5, as Microsoft is moving further away from the concept of exclusives, and this has already been confirmed, but there is one nuance.

Here's What We Know

An article on Xbox Wire regarding Forza Horizon 6 states that the race "...will release first on Xbox and PC in 2026. Given the hype surrounding the franchise on other platforms, Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios are already working to bring Forza Horizon 6 to PlayStation 5 shortly after launch."

Of course, the exact release date for the sixth instalment of the series on Sony's consoles has yet to be announced, but as a reminder, one of Xbox Game Studios' latest flagship projects, the action-adventure Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, was released in December 2024 and became available on PS5 in April.
