19 minutes of horror: Resident Evil Requiem demo video walkthrough released

Capcom gave Tokyo Game Show 2025 attendees a chance to check out a demo of the Resident Evil Requiem horror game and allowed them to share the recorded footage.

Here's What We Know

In the network published 19 minutes of gameplay of the new part of the cult franchise. The demo begins with the awakening of the protagonist Grace Ashcroft in a creepy hospital, where she found herself chained to an overturned hospital bed.

The girl is an analyst and has no combat experience, so she has to avoid direct confrontations with creepy creatures, and if they spot her, Grace has to run away.

The demo also shows an encounter with a huge monster, which was previously shown in trailers and some preview materials.

It's impossible not to mention the graphics and details of the game - these aspects were on a high level in the previous parts, but in Requiem Capcom's work exceeds all expectations, and since the horror is created on RE Engine, we can not doubt the excellent optimisation.

When We Can Expect It

Resident Evil Requiem will release on 27 February 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2
