Huawei Mate 80 will have a new design - photos of the back panel have appeared

Photos of the back panel of the upcoming Huawei Mate 80 have surfaced online, shedding light on potential design changes. Images published by insider Fixed Focus Digital showcase a round camera module located at the center of the upper part of the case - reminiscent of previous Mate 50 and Mate 60 models.

The photo shows a large round cutout for the camera, likely for a triple module, and cutouts for the LED flash and other sensors. The material of the panel is glossy plastic, possibly a pre-production version for testing.

There is currently no confirmation regarding the exact specifications of the Mate 80. It is expected that the device will run on HarmonyOS and will likely receive a next-generation Kirin chipset. Huawei traditionally presents the Mate series in the fall, so the official announcement may happen very soon.
