Baseus has released a new Nomos NU1 Air Spacemate docking station, aimed at macOS users and professionals working with multimedia content.
What is known
The device is made in a vertical form factor and supports simultaneous connection of two external displays with 4K resolution at 60 Hz — this was made possible thanks to DisplayLink technology, which is rare for accessories for macOS devices.
Nomos NU1 Air Spacemate has 12 ports:
- 2× HDMI (4K@60 Hz)
- 2× DisplayPort (4K@60 Hz)
- 2× USB-C (10 Gbps)
- 2× USB-A (5 Gbps)
- 2× USB-A (480 Mbps)
- 1× USB-C PD (100 W)
- 1× Ethernet (1 Gbps)
The novelty connects via a USB-C cable. Data transfer speed using the docking station is up to 10 Gbps (20 GB in 20 seconds).
Nomos NU1 Air Spacemate supports intelligent power management: the system detects active ports and distributes power accordingly.
The device is ideal for video editing and 3D graphics.
Baseus Nomos NU1 Air Spacemate is already available for purchase, priced at $200 in the USA and €150 in Europe.
