20 minutes of gameplay for The Outer Worlds 2 presented — exploration of the large location Paradise Island shown

The Game Informer portal published an exclusive gameplay video of the highly anticipated role-playing game The Outer Worlds 2 from Obsidian Entertainment.

What is known

Viewers were shown nearly 20 minutes of gameplay. The events of the presented episode unfold in the first open location in the game — Paradise Island, which is a dense tropical thicket. This place seems peaceful, but in reality, there is a serious conflict raging here between three key factions in The Outer Worlds 2, and the player can choose any side.

The authors showcased shootouts, stealth mechanics, and dialogues, and each of these elements in The Outer Worlds 2 is executed at a much higher level than in the first part.

Additionally, the video features a mission where the protagonist must infiltrate the Protectorate base, where the Vox Relay transmitter is located.

The Outer Worlds 2 could very well become one of the main new releases of the fall, or even of all of 2025, and the footage presented confirms this.

The release of The Outer Worlds 2 will take place on October 29 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, including Game Pass.
