BOOX P6 Pro — a color e-Ink book that can make phone calls and has a camera

The BOOX company is going to release the P6 Pro e-book, which will feature a color eInk display. This update makes the device more versatile — now it is better suited not only for reading books but also for viewing comics, PDF documents, and taking notes.

BOOX P6 Pro is equipped with a 6-inch Kaleido 3 screen with a resolution of 1440×1080 pixels in black and white mode and 720×540 in color. It supports 4096 colors and has a front light with adjustable color temperature. This is one of the few e-books that even has a camera. Moreover, the hybrid tray besides a microSD of up to 2 TB can also take a SIM card, making the device closer to phones than to e-books. The screen can work with the BOOX Pen Plus stylus for creating handwritten notes.

The official launch of the BOOX P6 Pro is scheduled for October 9, 2025. It is expected that this novelty will be interesting for students and anyone looking for a compact and functional eInk device with a color display.
