Officially: the series Dexter: Resurrection will get a second season

In September, the first season of the series “Dexter: Resurrection” concluded, which serves as a continuation of the miniseries subtitled “New Blood”.

Fans of the story about the famous serial killer highly appreciated “Resurrection” and will surely be happy to hear that the series has been renewed.

What is known

Actor Michael C. Hall — the actor who plays Dexter and an executive producer — recorded a video message to the audience, thanking them for their interest in the series and stating that Paramount and Showtime are already working on the second season.

However, the ending of Resurrection clearly hinted that there is still much work for Dexter in New York.

The premiere date for the second season has not yet been announced.
