On October 9, 2025, the company Figure unveiled Figure 03 — its newest humanoid robot, equipped with its own artificial intelligence system Helix. The robot has incredibly sensitive hands, allowing it to be trained for highly precise movements and fine motor skills. Thanks to this, the robot can perform ordinary household tasks that are beyond the reach of most other robots.

Details

Cameras are embedded in the palms of Figure 03, allowing the robot to see even in narrow or enclosed areas. The new generation cameras have twice the frame rate, a 60% wider field of view, and four times less latency, ensuring precise navigation and manipulation in complex spaces. New sensors on the fingers can detect pressure from 3 grams — enough to feel a paperclip. The robot can sense that an object might slip and adjust its grip. This increased sensitivity allows the robot to perform intricate and very complex (in terms of hand manipulation) tasks. Promotional videos show the robot doing laundry, watering flowers, and even gently washing dishes.

Figure 03 is 9% lighter and more compact than its predecessor. It is covered with soft textile materials, has an advanced audio system for voice communication, supports wireless charging with a power of 2 kW, and automatic docking. The fabrics are easily removable and washable, and can also be replaced with clothing options made from more durable materials.

The robot is ready for mass production at its own BotQ plant. The company has completely redesigned it, reduced the number of parts, and moved to casting, stamping, and other industrial methods. The plan is to produce 100,000 units in 4 years.

Figure 03 can function in business environments: it moves objects faster, better navigates spaces, and has stable grips even for unusual items. Companies can customize the appearance of the robots — from clothing to display screens with logos.

Figure has taken a big step towards integrating robots into the real everyday world. Figure 03 appears to be a fully ready-to-use product. Even if it is not massively purchased as domestic workers, it could be quite suitable for product demonstrations in shopping centers. Thus, it is likely that the future is indeed approaching.
