As part of the update, Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will merge into one model, Grand Wagoneer, with a modified design and a brand new powertrain.

What is known

The design of the 2026 Grand Wagoneer model largely inherits from the electric Wagoneer S. The SUV received a completely new front end with a minimalist grille featuring seven slots. It is illuminated and visually smoothly transitions into the new headlights. The central air intake is framed with new T-shaped daytime running lights. Additionally, the Wagoneer emblem on the hood is replaced with a Jeep logo.

At the rear, new LED taillights with a connecting strip across the full width of the body and the emblem of the American brand are noticeable. The model also gave up chrome but received updated wheels ranging from 18 to 22 inches.

Jeep has revealed almost nothing about the interior changes. However, it is known that the premium trims feature a new heads-up display, boasting a "significantly larger field of view and double the range of the virtual image compared to previous versions".

The Grand Wagoneer also features a 12-inch central display of the Uconnect5 system. It replaces the previous 10.1-inch display, which was previously standard for the Wagoneer.

Under the hood is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine with 420 hp (313 kW) and 635 Nm of torque. However, the main news is a completely new version with a serial-type hybrid system, also called a Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV).

This system was created for the Ram 1500 REV pickup, formerly known as Ramcharger. It includes a 92 kWh battery and a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine as a generator. The total declared power is 647 hp (482 kW), with 620 lb-ft (840 Nm) of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) takes just 5 seconds, and the range exceeds 500 miles (805 km).

Production of the gasoline-powered 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer will begin at the end of this year. Prices will start at "under $65,000." The REEV version will go into production a little later.
