Samsung seems to be changing the launch schedule of its flagship Galaxy S26 series. According to a new leak, the company has postponed the presentation by two months—from the traditional January to March 2026. The reason is cited as difficulties with development and design, though there is no official confirmation yet.

According to the source, Samsung has already completed the development of the top model Galaxy S26 Ultra, while the base Galaxy S26 is not yet ready. This may explain the overall shift in timelines. Meanwhile, it is worth treating this information with caution—details about the delay are still scarce.

Rumor has it that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 10-bit display and will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset, which will be manufactured by Samsung itself this time. The standard Galaxy S26, on the other hand, will be equipped with the new Exynos 2600, though versions with Snapdragon are likely to exist for certain regions.

The Galaxy S26 series is likely to include the S26, S26+, S26 Pro, and S26 Ultra models. At the same time, Samsung reportedly abandoned the Galaxy S26 Edge model—the previous S25 Edge model sold poorly, which could have influenced the decision.
