Galaxy S 26 Pro does not exist! Samsung will name the base smartphone of 2026 differently
New information continues to come in about Samsung's frantic plan revisions. Initially, it became known that the Korean manufacturer is resuming production of its Plus line of smartphones, later it was reported that the company abandoned ultrathin Edge smartphones. But Samsung's strange actions did not stop there.
What is known
Since the first information about the upcoming Galaxy S26 line appeared, it was known that its base model, for reasons known only to Samsung's marketers, was supposed to be called Galaxy S26 Pro, which seemed strange and could confuse buyers.
Sources from Sammobile reported that Samsung will not release a standard smartphone with the suffix "Pro", allegedly such a smartphone does not exist, and buyers will be offered three models of the new series: S26 (base), S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra.
Recall, the release of the Samsung Galaxy S26 line was expected in January 2026, but according to insider information it has been moved to March.
