The Redmi K90 Pro Max Speaker Will Have a Dust Self-Cleaning Feature
Before the official launch on October 23 in China, Redmi product manager Sun Tsung revealed the key features of the new K90 Pro Max flagship. The most interesting is the 2.1-channel audio system with a certified Bose rear speaker located next to the camera. This is not a decorative element, but a full-fledged speaker that does not violate water and dust protection according to the IP68/69 standard.
Redmi has also implemented a speaker dust cleaning function using vibration — similar to how smartwatches are cleaned from water. This is supposed to ensure good sound quality even after extended use. Sun Tsung promised to share more about the idea of embedding an additional loudspeaker in the phone at the presentation, but it almost certainly originated from observing how Chinese teenagers annoy people in public places with Japanese rap.

More details about the denim texture have also become known: the body is covered with tech denim, which imitates the texture of real denim fabric but has increased resistance to dirt, scratches, and wear. According to Sun Tsung, the cooling of this version is no worse than the black and white options.
According to Digital Chat Station, the entire Redmi K90 series will feature a 2.1-channel audio system with top, bottom, and rear speakers — for maximum immersion in games, videos, and music.
