Immediately after yesterday's announcement of iQOO 15, iQOO Vice President Luo Feng shared the company's plans to release an ultra-flagship. The device does not yet have an official name; it is tentatively called iQOO 15 Ultra and is supposed to be a premium version of the iQOO 15 series. The device will be aimed at gamers, streamers, and content creators, i.e., those who need a powerful tool for productive work and gaming. However, it's hard to imagine how it plans to impress in terms of 'hardware' since the 'basic' iQOO 15 has set the bar very high — Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with the Q3 gaming chip will be difficult to surpass.

The device will be announced in early 2026. There is speculation online that the smartphone will receive an active cooling system with a cooler or a 200 MP camera instead of a vapor chamber, but there is currently no reliable data.

Additionally, the company is working on a compact version of the flagship, tentatively called iQOO 15 Mini. The compact is expected to have a 6.31-inch display, a Mediatek Dimensity 9500 or 9500+ processor and a small battery of about 7,000 mAh.

Both models are expected in the first half of 2026. iQOO does not disclose details, and insiders are silent, which may indicate that the models are at an early stage of development.
