The new king of selfies — DxOMark highly praised the front camera of the iPhone 17 Pro

DxOMark specialists finally reached the iPhone 17 Pro cameras and named it the best smartphone for selfies in the world, placing it first in their ranking of front cameras. The previous “king” iPhone 16 Pro Max was moved from the top spot, which, by the way, did not lose much to the newcomer — 151 versus 154 points. Moreover, in terms of photo capabilities, DxOMark rated an increase of only 1 point — from 149 to 150 points. The third place is held by... no, not iPhone 15 Pro Max, Honor Magic6 Pro with 151 points.

The biggest growth was noted by the specialists in video recording — from 155 to 159 points. The new square sensor, 20mm focal length, good stabilization, and identifying people in the frame — all improvements deserved praise.

However, in the field of the main camera, the iPhone 17 Pro could not overcome the dragon. The first place is still deservedly held by the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra, and the second place is occupied by the Oppo Find X8 Ultra. Nevertheless, the third place for the iPhone 17 Pro is a big step forward — the nearest Apple representative (iPhone 16 Pro Max) now holds the seventh place.
