Porsche unveils first fully electric Macan GTS
Porsche has officially unveiled the GTS version of the electric Macan — it is the most driver-oriented variant of the crossover. In the model lineup, it is positioned between the 4S and the flagship Turbo.
What is known
The power of the electric Macan GTS with a twin-motor powertrain reaches 516 horsepower, but when Launch Control is activated, this parameter can briefly increase to 571 horsepower. The maximum torque is 955 Nm.
Most of the GTS's power is derived from the same rear motor as the top-of-the-line Turbo version. Porsche claims that the focus on rear-wheel drive makes the GTS more engaging to drive.
In search of greater driver engagement, the GTS also received an electronic rear differential, 48:52 weight distribution, special shock absorber and anti-roll bar settings, as well as individual traction control and torque vectoring systems.
The GTS ground clearance is 10 mm lower than the standard model. The crossover also received its own signature sound. Rear-axle steering is offered as an option.
While pure power is not the main focus for positioning the GTS, it is still very quick. With Launch Control activated, 0–100 km/h acceleration takes 3.8 seconds. This is 0.3 seconds faster than the 4S and only 0.5 seconds slower than the Turbo.
The Macan GTS then accelerates to 200 km/h in 13.3 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h.
Electricity comes from the same 100 kWh battery as in the 4S and Turbo. In the GTS, it provides up to 586 km of range per the WLTP cycle. Charging from 10 to 80% at up to 270 kW takes 21 minutes.
Starting from early 2026, Porsche will offer a new Sport Design package for all Macan models, including new front and rear bumpers. The Macan GTS will be the first model to receive it — not only standard but also with GTS-specific styling. Contrast elements such as inserts, side air intakes, arch trim, and the edge of the adaptive rear spoiler are finished in black. Base includes 21-inch alloy wheels, with 22-inch being an option.
With the introduction of the new Macan GTS, three new colors became available: the popular Crayon is back, joined by the typical GTS Carmine Red and, for the first time for Macan, Lugano Blue. In addition to the 15 colors available through the Porsche configurator, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur offers nearly 60 additional shades through the Paint to Sample program.
Inside, the GTS received the same interior as the rest of the model lineup — including a 12.6-inch driver display, 10.9-inch touchscreen, and an optional 10.9-inch passenger screen. Upholstery is a mix of Race-Tex and black leather.
