The game Escape From Duckov sold over a million copies in five days and entered Steam's top

The independent RPG Escape From Duckov by Team Soda studio and publisher BILIBILI GAME flew off the shelves like hot cakes — over a million copies in the first five days after release. The game was released on October 16, 2025, on Steam, Epic Games Store and Apple App Store and instantly hit the list of the most popular on Steam.

Records from the first hours

In the first day of sales, players purchased 200,000 copies, and as of October 19, half a million. On October 20, Duckov received the "Extremely Positive" mark on Steam, and the peak of concurrent players reached 221,963, making it the fifth most popular game on the platform at that time. By the end of the week, developers reported 1,000,000 copies sold, thanking fans and BILIBILI GAME for their support.

What kind of game is this

Escape From Duckov is a single-player PvE RPG with a top view, where the main character is a duck trying to escape from a strange egg-shaped world that is falling apart before their eyes.
