MSI has introduced a new mini-PC, the Cubi Z AI 8M, an ultra-compact device perfect for business, education, and everyday tasks, focused on artificial intelligence work.
What is known
The Cubi Z AI 8M is built on the AMD Ryzen 8000HS platform, up to the top-end Ryzen 9 8945HS, and features an integrated NPU (neural processing unit) capable of accelerating AI algorithms directly on the device, including working with Microsoft Copilot and other local AI assistants.
The mini-PC includes an integrated Radeon 780M iGPU, suitable for running modern games at high settings, and supports up to 64 GB of DDR5 5600 SO-DIMM RAM (2 slots). An M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot is provided for an SSD.
A wide range of ports is provided for connecting various devices: 2× USB4, 2× HDMI, 2× RJ-45 2.5GbE, USB 2.0, and audio connectors.
The Cubi Z AI 8M supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth protocols, features a built-in speaker, and comes with Windows 11 Home / Pro.
Excellent specifications are packed into a small case with a volume of only 0.9 liters (136 × 132 × 50 mm). A VESA mount is available.
The Cubi Z AI 8M is an example of how compact PCs are becoming increasingly powerful and suitable for working with large language models, neural networks, and data processing.
The release date for the MSI Cubi Z AI 8M has not yet been revealed.
