Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi TV X 2026 — a gigantic 98″ TV with Mini-LED backlighting, high brightness, and refresh rates up to 288 Hz.

What's Known

The Redmi TV X 2026 features a 4K panel with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and Mini-LED backlighting with 880 local dimming zones. The maximum brightness reaches 1300 nits, and the dynamic contrast ratio is 12,000,000:1. The refresh rate is 144 Hz in standard mode and up to 288 Hz in gaming mode at 1440p resolution, with support for VRR (variable refresh rate).

Thanks to the built-in light sensor, the TV automatically adjusts the brightness and color temperature of the image according to the ambient conditions.

Performance and Interfaces

The device is powered by a MediaTek MT9655 chipset with four Cortex-A73 cores and Mali-G52 graphics. It has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The operating system is HyperOS 3, which provides fast performance and deep integration with the Xiaomi ecosystem.

The TV is equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, and supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

When to Expect

The Redmi TV X 2026 series with similar features but with an 85″ screen is already available in China for $670 (converted from yuan), and the 98″ model is only available for pre-order at a price of about $1045.
