A few days ago, the media holding Warner Bros. Discovery confirmed its intentions to sell its assets, but the company declined Paramount Skydance's offer, considering their terms uninteresting.

Well, several other interesting players have entered into negotiations with Warner Bros.

What is known

As Bloomberg reports, Apple, Netflix, and Amazon have expressed interest in acquiring Warner Bros. Discovery. It is still unknown what offers these corporations have made, but Paramount has been rejected three times, even though their last price was $24 per share, which is significantly higher than Warner Bros.'s market value of securities at the time.

Interest in Warner Bros. is driven not so much by the film studio and its infrastructure as by the rights to hugely popular franchises, as well as HBO, CNN channels, and the DC Studios division. A nice bonus for Warner Bros. buyers will be a decent set of video game studios (NetherRealm, Rocksteady, TT Games, and Avalanche Software), known for the Mortal Kombat series, Injustice, Batman: Arkham, LEGO-games, and Hogwarts Legacy.
