Hisense has introduced the flagship laser projector Vidda C5 Boundless Master, which will certainly interest quality video enthusiasts, as it combines high brightness, advanced optics, and a powerful audio system, offering a level close to studio quality.

What is known

The projector is equipped with a cinematic Hubble Red Label lens with a diameter of 122 mm, consisting of 17 optical glass elements. The system supports a variable aperture with a seven-step aperture, providing precise image adjustments. The brightness reaches 6800 lumens according to the CVIA standard, allowing the device to be used even in daylight conditions.

The contrast is 8000:1 in static mode and up to 5,000,000:1 with DeepBlack technology. The resolution exceeds 160 lp/mm, and the projection size ranges from 1.9 to 13.3 meters — up to 300 inches. The laser system is based on the Alpha MCL architecture with a spectrum purity of more than 99.99%, and a lifespan of up to 25,000 hours.

The Vidda C5 Boundless Master supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision, and the built-in JBL 2.1 audio system with DTS:X support ensures rich and immersive sound without the need for external speakers. The device operates on the proprietary Vidda OS shell and offers intelligent control functions.

The projector is already available for pre-order in China at a price of about $3500 (converted from yuan). The international release is expected in the coming months.
