MSI has introduced the new Cubi 5 1M mini-computer — ultra-compact but powerful enough PC.

What is known

The volume of the Cubi 5 1M case is only 0.83 liters, and its dimensions are 124 × 124 × 54 mm, making it easy to place the device even in the most confined space.

The novelty is based on Intel Core 10th series processors (Raptor Lake-U), including Core 3 100U, Core 5 120U, and Core 7 150U models. They offer from 6 to 10 cores, providing decent performance for everyday tasks. Up to 64 GB of DDR5-5200 RAM is supported in dual-channel mode, and for data storage, there is an M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0×4 slot and a bay for a 2.5″ SATA drive.

One of the key advantages of the Cubi 5 1M is the Thunderbolt 4 port, which provides transfer speeds of up to 40 Gbps, supports connecting up to three external displays, and outputs images in 4K at 60 Hz. HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, four USB 3.2 Gen2, two gigabit Ethernet ports, and a combined audio jack are also available.

The MSI Power Link technology allows the Cubi 5 1M to receive power directly from selected MSI monitors, which is convenient when installing behind the screen.

The device comes with Windows 11 Home or Pro.

The exact sales start date has not been specified yet, but the device is already listed as "released," which may indicate the availability of Cubi 5 1M in some countries or for corporate customers.
