A new hit on Steam — indie game RV There Yet has caused a lot of buzz and sold 1 million copies in four days
Every month, a huge number of unconventional cooperative indie games are released on Steam, and many of them become hits — this was the case with Peak, R.E.P.O., Lethal Company, Schedule I, and now we have a new star.
What is known
On October 21, RV There Yet debuted on Steam — a fun game in which a team of friends is returning from vacation in a motorhome that got lost in the Mabuts Valley. There are no normal roads, bridges are broken, many natural obstacles, wild animals, and danger awaits at every meter of the way.
The novelty attracted a lot of attention, and in the first four days, sales of RV There Yet exceeded 1 million copies, with peak online reaching 100,000 gamers.
As is often the case with such games, the popularity of RV There Yet is due not only to its fun gameplay but also to the great attention from bloggers and streamers who actively produce videos and conduct streams.
Swedish indie studio Nuggets Entertainment thanks gamers for their interest in their game and promises to accelerate the release of updates, add additional localizations, controller support, and optimize RV There Yet for Steam Deck.
