The Honda Prelude Coupe Returns to Europe After a 25-Year Hiatus

Honda announced the return of the Prelude Coupe to Europe. The model will be available in the e:HEV modification with a hybrid power unit.

What is known

The Honda Prelude e:HEV is equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine, two electric motors, and an automatic transmission that can mimic the operation of a "classic" 8-speed automatic transmission. The maximum system power is 184 hp (135 kW).

Driver-selectable driving modes include "Comfort," "GT," "Sport," and "Individual." The suspension in the new model is from the Civic Type R hot hatch, with adaptive dampers and the latest version of the Honda Agile Handling Assist (AHA) system.

Buyers will have a choice of two interior design options: white-blue and black-blue. Standard equipment includes a customizable 10.2-inch display with original graphics for the Prelude and adapted color combinations.

Additionally, the model features a 9-inch touchscreen multimedia system display with support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a Bose audio system with nine speakers.

Available body colors: Moonlit White Pearl, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, and Racing Blue Pearl.
