Insider: Huawei is preparing the world's first photo flagship with a dual 200-megapixel camera

Renowned Chinese insider Digital Chat Station announced that Huawei is conducting internal tests of a new smartphone with a dual 200 MP camera!

He mentioned that this will be the first time in industry history that the main sensor and periscope telephoto lens will be combined in a camera module.

The first smartphone with a dual 200 MP camera is expected to be the Huawei Pura 90 Ultra, which will be released in the first half of 2026.

Recall, in the Pura 80 Ultra, the Chinese manufacturer used an unusual zoom camera with two lenses combined into one module for the first time. The smartphone's 50 MP 1/1.28" sensor is paired with two physical lenses with different focal lengths.
