Casio has opened pre-orders in Europe for the stylish G-Shock GST-B1000D watches and announced the sales start date
Casio has opened pre-orders for the new G-Shock GST-B1000D watches for European buyers. The model is part of the G-STEEL line and combines the signature G-Shock shock resistance with a refined stainless steel design.
What's known
The GST-B1000D model was first introduced in Japan but has not yet been released on the domestic market. However, the European release date is known — November 7.
Three color variants will be available for sale: black (GST-B1000D-1A), blue (GST-B1000D-2A), and green (GST-B1000D-3A) at a recommended price of €399.
The case and bracelet are made of stainless steel with a combination finish: mirror, vertical, and circular brushing. The case thickness is only 11.6 mm, and the weight is 118 g, making it one of the thinnest and lightest models in the G-STEEL series.
The bezel is logo-free, and the dial design is inspired by the classic DW-5000C model: it uses a brick pattern with delicate accents of red, blue, and yellow colors.
The watch is built on the Carbon Core Guard design (Casio's proprietary technology for increasing strength and reducing case weight) with biosmole and urethane buffers providing extra cushioning. The device is water-resistant up to 20 bar, equipped with mineral glass and a screw-down crown.
Among the functional features are the Casio Tough Solar system, which charges the watch even in low light, and Bluetooth synchronization via the CASIO WATCHES app. Users have access to automatic time correction, phone finder function, location determination, as well as standard tools like a stopwatch, timer, alarm clock, and Super Illuminator LED backlight.
