Capcom has opened pre-orders for four editions of Resident Evil Requiem and announced the system requirements for the PC version of the horror

Capcom has started accepting pre-orders for the anticipated horror Resident Evil Requiem and revealed the content of the different editions. And to ensure gamers confidently purchase the PC version of the game, its system requirements have also been published.

What is known

Resident Evil Requiem is offered in four editions, which differ in bonus content and, accordingly, price.

Standard ($69.99 / £64.99 / €79.99):

  • game copy (on Switch 2 — game-key cartridge);
  • pre-order bonus — Grace's Apocalypse costume.

Deluxe ($79.99 / £74.99 / €89.99):

  • game copy (on Switch 2 — game-key cartridge);
  • five costumes, including Grace “Dimitrescu” outfit;
  • two filters, including “Apocalypse”;
  • four weapon skins, including “Apocalypse” for SS M232;
  • two charms, including “Mr. Raccoon”;
  • music set “Raccoon City Classics”;
  • files “Letters from 1998”;
  • pre-order bonus — Grace's “Apocalypse” costume.

Steelbook edition

  • Deluxe package contents;
  • steelbook;
  • lenticular postcard.

Generation Pack for Switch 2 ($89.99) (all three horrors will be distributed through game-key cartridges):

  • Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Gold Edition;
  • Resident Evil Village Gold Edition;
  • Resident Evil Requiem.

System Requirements

As always, Capcom has ensured excellent optimization for the new part of Resident Evil, allowing Requiem to run on low settings on almost any computer. Even the recommended requirements are much lower than most modern releases.

  • processor: Intel Core i5-8500 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500;
  • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT;
  • RAM: 16 GB.

Recommended

  • operating system: 64-bit Windows 11;
  • processor: Intel Core i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 5 5500;
  • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER or AMD Radeon RX 6600;
  • RAM: 16 GB.

Resident Evil Requiem will have Denuvo DRM protection.

When to expect

The release of Resident Evil Requiem is set for February 27, 2026, on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2.

The Japanese developer has announced that at the beginning of the year, it will hold a major presentation where it will reveal game details.
