Chinese company GTBox has released an unusual mini-computer on the global market, which is visually indistinguishable from a Bluetooth speaker.

What is known

GTBox T1 attracts attention with its unconventional design and combination of performance, compactness, and multimedia capabilities.

The GTBox T1 is based on an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor with 8 Zen 4 architecture cores and built-in Radeon 780M graphics based on RDNA 3. This allows the mini-PC to handle not only office tasks but also basic gaming, multimedia processing, and even light 3D rendering. In its maximum configuration, the device is equipped with 32 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1 TB SSD.

One of the key features of the GTBox T1 is its design: the case is made in the style of a smart speaker with fabric upholstery and an LED ring on the top. Built-in stereo speakers with a power of 2×5 W allow the device to be used as a speaker. Despite its compact size, the mini-PC offers a wide range of ports: USB4, HDMI, DisplayPort, Ethernet, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 modules.

The novelty supports connection to three external displays with resolutions up to 8K and frequencies up to 60 Hz.

The GTBox T1 is already available on various marketplaces under different sub-brands, including Soayan EXR1 and Chatreey EX1. The price of the device, depending on the configuration, starts at $550.
