No doubt left: Silent Hill 2 Remake is coming to Xbox Series soon

There is little doubt that the highly-regarded Silent Hill 2 Remake, released in October 2024 as a PlayStation 5 console exclusive, will come to Xbox and possibly Switch 2.

And while the port for the hybrid console is still under question, the version for Microsoft's platform received indisputable confirmation today.

What is known

An age rating for the Xbox Series version of Silent Hill 2 was found on the ESRB qualification agency's website.

Usually, games undergo this procedure shortly before the official announcement; consequently, it is expected that Konami and Bloober Team will announce the release of the updated horror on Xbox Series soon.

Recall that despite pre-release skepticism, Silent Hill 2 Remake impressed gamers with the developers' careful treatment of the original and the competent application of modern mechanics and technologies, while the excellent graphics allowed for a new look at James Sunderland's personal drama.
