Realme introduced two budget smartphones of the C85 series with 7000 mAh batteries, bright displays, and high durability

Realme introduced two new budget smartphones — Realme C85 5G and Realme C85 Pro.

What is known

Both devices are aimed at users who value autonomy, a bright screen, a durable body, and an affordable price.

Realme C85 5G became one of the most protected and autonomous smartphones in its class and received the following characteristics:

• 6.8″ LCD display with HD+ resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate;
• MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with 5G support;
• 7000 mAh battery with silicon-carbon technology and 45W fast charging;
• Main camera 50 MP + front camera 8 MP;
• Compliance with military standard MIL-STD-810H.

The thickness of the C85 5G is 8.38 mm.

Realme C85 Pro is a more advanced version that has the following characteristics:

• 6.8″ AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate;
• Maximum brightness up to 4000 nits — a record for the budget segment;
• Snapdragon 685 processor;
• Main camera 50 MP + front camera 8 MP;
• 7000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

C85 Pro has dimensions of 164.4 x 77.99 x 8.09 mm and weighs 205 grams.

Both devices come with Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. Additional features include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 (C85 Pro) / 5.3 (C85 5G), GPS, NFC, dual SIM support, USB-C port, and IP69 Pro waterproof rating.

Both devices are currently available only in the Vietnamese market, but a global release is expected in the coming weeks.

The Pro version costs $245 (converted from dong) for the 8GB + 128GB version and $270 for the 8GB + 256GB version.

The cost of Realme C85 5G is $290 for the 8GB + 256GB version.
