Syberia Remastered — an updated version of the cult 2002 quest by the famous Belgian artist and scriptwriter Benoît Sokal — has been released.

What is known

The remaster of the game, known for its complex and unobvious puzzles and intricate storyline, is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (physical editions are available on consoles).

According to the plot, a young girl, Kate Walker, goes on a business trip to acquire an old automaton factory, but the trip unexpectedly turns into an adventure full of dangers, encounters, and mysteries.

Game designers from Virtuallyz and Microids Studio Paris have significantly updated the graphics, modernized the gameplay, bringing it closer to contemporary cinematic adventures and making it a bit more dynamic. The developers reimagined the puzzles, updated the interface, made the controls and navigation more convenient. Separate locations from the original game were combined into cohesive spacious zones, resulting in much less frequent level loading in Syberia Remastered.

The VR headset version for Meta Quest 3 will appear on November 13.

A 10% discount on Syberia Remastered is offered in Steam and GOG.
