New Ford dealerships designed like hotel lobbies
Ford has unveiled a new concept for Signature 2.0 dealerships. Visiting a car dealership should become more relaxed and leisurely.
What is known
As part of the update, dealers will adhere to the "Hospitality First" principle. Ford claims that dealership staff are not salespeople but "brand ambassadors." Customers will be able to interact with them in special "hospitality zones," which are apparently designed for more informal and casual communication. Additionally, food and drinks will be available in showrooms and service areas.
The emphasis is not only on sales: the "Blue Oval" highlighted the efficiency of dealership design aimed at optimizing visitor flow and functionality, as well as enhancing guest experiences.
Judging by the published images, the dealerships of the future will have an open layout resembling a coffee shop. There will be a coffee bar, round tables, and several dedicated work areas. Interesting displays of cars, accessories, and retail-inspired shopping areas can also be seen.
Meanwhile, the automaker also promised a smooth transition from digital to personal interaction. In some markets, including the US, online sales will also be available.
By the end of 2025, Ford Signature 2.0 will appear in more than 20 dealerships in 10 countries, and by 2027, there will be 110.
