It Happened Again: The Superhero Action Game Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra Delayed Indefinitely
Aside from the delay of the most anticipated game in the industry's history — GTA VI, today it became known about problems in the development of another ambitious project — the superhero action game Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra.
What is known
Skydance New Media studio announced that it is once again delaying the release of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra.
Last time, the game's release was scheduled for early 2026, but now it has been postponed indefinitely.
The developers left a detailed comment, which boils down to needing more time to refine the game, although between the lines it can be read that Skydance is facing serious issues with the game.
The goal of Skydance Games is to create unforgettable top-tier games that honor the characters and worlds we are fortunate to work with. Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is an ambitious project, and we strive to ensure it meets the quality level expected by our team, players, and fans.
To fully realize our vision, we have decided to postpone the release date of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra to a period after early 2026.
We are grateful to the community and players around the world for their enthusiasm and support. The team is working hard to create something truly special, and we eagerly look forward to revealing more details as development progresses.

The development crisis of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is also indicated by the fact that several years after its announcement, not a single gameplay trailer has been shown to the public, nor have key features of the game been revealed, except for the stated Hollywood-style production and excellent graphics.
Remember, Rise of Hydra is being developed under the leadership of famous writer Amy Hennig — the author of three parts of Uncharted, and the main protagonists are Black Panther and Captain America, who find themselves in Nazi-occupied France in 1943.
