The release of Mafia: The Old Country took place in August. The game generally received good reviews, but among gamers, it has a mixed reputation. Not so long ago, actress Carina Conti, who voiced Isabella Torrisi in The Old Country, hinted that the cult franchise would get a continuation and now it is practically confirmed at the official level.

What is known

From Take-Two's financial report, it became known not only about the postponement of the GTA VI release, but also about the success of Mafia: The Old Country. The publisher noted that the crime action game set in early 20th century Sicily quickly exceeded the company's expectations and confirmed the “public's interest in premium (paid) story-driven games.”

However, the main thing is that the report explicitly states that Hangar 13 will continue “creating cinematic projects in the Mafia series (and beyond).” This wording can be considered indisputable confirmation of Take-Two's further plans for developing the franchise.
