Partial repair and the possibility of tuning: Oracle Lighting has created LED headlights without lenses
Oracle Lighting introduced LED headlights without an outer glass at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. In January 2026, such headlights can be purchased to replace the factory lights of the third-generation Toyota Tacoma pickup truck for about $900.
What is known
The new headlights are notable for not having outer glass (diffuser). Instead, they are equipped with “sealed modular LED emitters” with IP68 water and dust protection.
The manufacturer claims that car owners with such tuning will no longer have to worry about cracks or fogging of the headlights.
Oracle Lighting also stated that the headlights were designed with ease of maintenance in mind. Users can replace individual components such as high and low beams as well as daytime running lights. This sets them apart from most modern headlights, which need to be replaced entirely.
The company also stated that the headlights have a shaped housing, which can be painted. This opens up new opportunities for owners to personalize the appearance of their car.
In addition to the aforementioned Tacoma, Oracle will offer headlights for the Toyota 4Runner and Ford F-150.
Additional models are also planned for release, which will be announced in the near future.
