New leak reveals key features of the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra smartphone

The insider Digital Chat Station shared the key features of the new Motorola smartphone, likely the Edge 70 Ultra. Qualcomm is also expected to present the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip at the end of November. Motorola will be one of the first companies to introduce a smartphone based on this processor. Although the exact model name is not disclosed, it is most likely about the Edge 70 Ultra.

What is known

The smartphone is expected to have a slim and light body, an OLED display with 1.5K resolution, and a telephoto lens with periscope optics, probably like the previous Edge 50 Ultra model.

Interestingly, in 2024, Motorola presented the Edge 50 Ultra and Razr 50 Ultra on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, but the Edge 60 Ultra never came out. It is likely that the company decided to focus on a more powerful processor and significant updates in the lineup.

The Edge 70 Ultra may be released in the first half of 2026. Along with Motorola smartphones, models such as OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max, Vivo S50 Pro Mini, Honor GT 2, Oppo K15 Turbo Pro, and Meizu 23 are also expected on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.
