Insider OnLeaks and portal Android Headlines published the first renders of the Galaxy S26+, which, according to various sources, was rushed into production after Samsung became disappointed with the sales of the ultra-thin Galaxy S26 Edge.

What's Known

OnLeaks presented a selection of renders but emphasized that the body colors shown are conditional since the manufacturer has not yet made a final decision.

Judging by the renders, the design of the Galaxy S26+ is more similar to the Galaxy S25+ than to the Galaxy S25 Edge, as the camera module is more compact. The smartphone has a flat display with thin even bezels and a camera hole in the center of the screen.

According to rumors, the smartphone will feature a 6.7″ AMOLED 2X display, and its dimensions will be 158.4 × 75.7 × 7.35 mm. The main camera has three modules arranged vertically in an oval module.

It is expected that in different regions, the Galaxy S26+ will be supplied with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipsets or the proprietary Exynos 2600, and the latest One UI 8.5 firmware based on Android 16.

The smartphone will have 12 or 16 GB of RAM, a battery capacity of 4900 mAh with support for 45-watt wired charging, support for magnetic wireless charging Qi2. Samsung will provide IP68-level protection and offer an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the screen, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0.

According to insider information, the Galaxy Unpacked event, where the Galaxy S26 lineup will be presented, will take place on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco, but no official information has been released yet.
