Insider: Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold will receive a 200 MP camera, a 5437 mAh battery, and screens of different thicknesses
Interesting details continue to emerge about Samsung's first TriFold smartphone. For example, it became known yesterday, that its release is scheduled for December 5, and when folded, the device will have a thickness of about 14 mm, which is comparable to an ordinary flagship smartphone in a protective case, but today this parameter has been clarified.
One of the most authoritative insiders in the world of mobile technology — Evan Blass — published the detailed specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold smartphone.
What is known
According to Evan Blass, the smartphone will feature an external screen with a 6.5″ diagonal and a peak brightness of 2600 nits, and an internal screen of 10″ with a peak brightness of 1600 nits. The performance is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm chipset, presumably the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
The ambitious gadget will feature a 200 MP main camera and a 5600 mAh battery, although the nominal capacity is stated as 5437 mAh.
Notably, the three sections of the Galaxy Z TriFold with three screens have different thicknesses: 3.9 mm, 4.0 mm, and 4.2 mm. In total, when folded, the thickness will be 12.1 mm, which is somewhat thinner than the previously stated 14 mm.
It is likely that in the coming days, Samsung will officially reveal the presentation date for the Galaxy Z TriFold.
