Like in China, but More Expensive: Global Sales of the Flagship OnePlus 15 Gaming Smartphone Have Started

The global version of the flagship OnePlus 15 smartphone has been presented, and it has become one of the most advanced devices of the brand, offering an impressive combination of performance, autonomy, and camera capabilities, positioning itself as an excellent gadget for mobile gaming enthusiasts.

The novelty was released in China in October and attracted great interest due to its excellent price-quality ratio, but the situation is somewhat different in the global market.

What is Known

The smartphone is already available in stores in all regions, but its price might be somewhat disappointing.

In China, the OnePlus 15 in the 12/256 GB configuration costs $560, while the global version with the same memory amounts already costs $825. The 16/512 GB version costs $900, whereas this variant in China is $645.

Technical Specifications

The global OnePlus 15 received a flat 6.78″ BOE X3 display with a resolution of 1.5K and a frequency of 165 Hz. The smartphone's high performance is ensured by the top-end Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset from Qualcomm, which is sufficient for even the most resource-intensive tasks.

One of the main advantages of the smartphone is a 7300 mAh battery – a record figure for OnePlus flagships. The smartphone supports fast wired charging of 120W and wireless charging of 50W.

The 32 MP front camera is built into the screen. The main camera module includes three 50 MP sensors, including a periscope lens with a focal length of 85 mm and 3.5x optical zoom. This makes the OnePlus 15 especially interesting for mobile photography and zoom shooting.

The gadget received symmetrical stereo speakers, an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner, a powerful vibration motor, and a USB 3.2 Gen1 port.

The frames made of “aerospace nanoceramic metal” provided the OnePlus 15 with an almost bezel-less appearance. The body thickness is 8.18 mm, and the weight is 211 grams.
