This is what the Galaxy S26 Edge looked like: insider showed mock-up of the canceled ultra-thin Samsung smartphone

In mid-October, it became known that Samsung canceled the release of the ultra-thin smartphone Galaxy S26 Edge due to weak sales of the previous model and low public interest in the iPhone Air, and instead quickly launched production of the Galaxy S26+.

We will never know what the final version of the Galaxy S26 Edge would have looked like, but the authoritative insider OnLeaks showed its mock-up.

According to measurements, the smartphone's thickness is 5.5 mm — 0.1 mm thinner than the iPhone Air. Recall, the Galaxy S25 Edge has a body thickness of 5.8 mm, but that did not save it — the production of the ultra-thin 2025 model was also discontinued.
