Volkswagen unveiled the Amarok pickup in a special Dark Label version

Volkswagen is reintroducing the special modification of the Amarok pickup — Dark Label. This new special version is based on the Style trim and is available to order now.

What's Known

For Europe, the Volkswagen Amarok Dark Label is equipped with a 240 hp (177 kW) V6 TDI diesel engine and 600 Nm of torque, combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The 4MOTION all-wheel drive system with a reduction gear is standard equipment.

The pickup is available exclusively in Midnight Black Metallic, Dark Grey Metallic, and Bright Blue Metallic colors. The vehicle features matte 20-inch black wheels, black body elements — from the front skirt and grille to the sills, mirrors, door handles, and rear bumper. The look is completed by tinted windows, a matte bar, tinted rear lights, and a black handle on the trunk lid.

The interior is predominantly dark tones — seats in ArtVelours upholstery, black dashboard, console and ceiling, steering wheel with 'Dark Label' inscription between the lower spokes, and branded floor mats.

Depending on the configuration, the Amarok offers over 25 assist systems, a digital instrument panel (12.3 inches), and a 12-inch center screen. The controls combine analog and digital elements. The payload capacity is up to 1.09 tons, and the maximum trailer weight is up to 3.35 tons.

In Germany, prices for the regular Volkswagen Amarok Style start at 54,201 euros excluding VAT. The special Dark Label version starts at 57,536 euros excluding VAT.
