What is known

The Galaxy Book5 Edge is built on the Snapdragon X1-26-100 chip, integrating a 12-core Oryon processor, Adreno graphics, and a neural processor for AI tasks. The integrated Snapdragon X65 modem provides support for 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4, making the laptop a fully-fledged Always Connected PC with the ability to work via a SIM card without being tied to Wi-Fi.

  • Display: 15.6″, IPS, Full HD resolution;
  • 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM;
  • 512 GB eUFS storage;
  • Ports: 2×USB4, USB 3.2, HDMI 2.1, microSD slot, SIM slot;

Galaxy Book5 Edge is now available for sale at a price of around $1250, making it a premium ARM solution despite expectations for a more affordable cost. The release of the Galaxy Book5 Edge coincides with the launch of the new generation of Windows on ARM and increased competition in the segment of energy-efficient laptops. Samsung is betting on mobility, autonomy, and integration with the Galaxy ecosystem, including smartphones and tablets.
